25 Days of Christmas Self Care

       Happy December! As we enter into this new month, I am beginning to focus on myself and set new goals. In this final month of 2019, I will be focusing solely on my self care in preparation for the new year. With that being said, I am sorry to say that I will be taking a break from blogging until the end of this month. 🙁 I know, right!?

       But I won’t be leaving y’all without something to do 🙂 Since, I’m focusing on my self care for the remainder of this month, I took the liberty of turning it into a new challenge. 😀 Starting today, I will be completing this challenge until Christmas, and I hope you all will join me.        The perfect way to start this challenge is getting organized! It is time to declutter your space, your calendar, and your mind. Sometimes I overwhelm myself by trying to focus on too many things at once, or setting too many goals. This Christmas, we’re reducing anxiety and increasing self-effiency!

Day TWO: Decorate

       Set the tone for this entire month by decking the halls! Adding a little Christmas decor is the perfect way to start your holiday season. Don’t forget to light one of your favorite holiday candles to really spread holiday cheer far and wide !

Day Three: Holy Night

        Before you lay your head down to sleep, take the time and thank God through prayer. Thank Him for your hardships, for new blessings, and the things that have yet to come. I pray that after you acknowledge God and give Him glory, that you’re able to sleep in heavenly peace. 

Day four: Eat WEll

       Eat well by ditching those salted snacks and picking up something little healthier. 

Day five: make spirits bright

       Be a little selfless this holiday season, by bringing joy to someone else. You can donate canned goods to your local homeless shelter, hold the door open for a stranger, or even give out a genuine compliment! Bring joy to the world, by making someone smile. 🙂

Day SEVEN: drink a festive drink


       Do you hear what I hear? Sounds to me like those sleigh bells are ringing. If you aren’t on Santa’s naughty list this year, then go ahead and start writing the things you’ve been wanting! Santa Claus is coming to town and I’ve already started on mine. All I want for Christmas is you!

Day NINE: Journal

Day TEN:Holiday Baking

       Now I know this may be a little contridicting, but the calories don’t count when its Christmas, right!? haha. Either way, grab a few friends and bake yourselves some festive treats.

Day ELEVEN: Meditate

Day TWELVE: Treat Yourself

       Baby, it’s cold outside! Buy yourself a new sweater, scarf or pair of gloves to keep your warm while you’re dashing through the snow (if the weather permits). 😉

Day THIRTEEN:Set a budget

       It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but it may be a little less wonder-filled if you blow all of your cash in one place!

Day FOURTEEN:have a lazy day

Day FIFTEEN: christmas crafts

Day SIXTEEN:Enjoy nature

Day SEVENTEEN: Reflect

       Take a trip down memory lane, and bring out those old photo albums. Take a few moments to go through your old pictures and reminisce on the good ole days.

Day EIGHTEEN: Put yourself first



Day TWENTY One: Connect

         Make this a December to remember, by creating new memories. Whether you’re by yourself or with your friends and family, take this day to do something you enjoy!

Day Twenty five: rejoice

       Jesus is the reason for the season! Without him, I am nothing. It can be so easy to get caught up in all of the holiday madness, that we forget what it’s all about. It’s Christmas Day and it’s time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior.

  2. I love this! Reading this I was thinking “I should type this all out” only to find a printable at the end! I’m so glad it’ll be easy to print and hang on the fridge to remind me to think of me on the holidays too! 🙂
