Since school’s out for the summer, but not really… I thought I’d give you guys a few tips and tricks on how I’ve managed to be productive. 🙂

Make Breakfast

I have recently become obsessed with Sunrise Sunset smoothie from Tropical Smoothie. I could drink it all day everyday, but that would get a little pricey. Since, I don’t have $5 to spend, every time I want a smoothie, I decided to recreate it myself. So, let me put y’all on. haha.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 frozen mango
  • 1/2 frozen orange
  • 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of frozen pineapples
  • sugar {as needed}

Get Dressed

Treat your online classes, like a regular school day. Getting up and getting dressed, can be a great way to motivate you.

RE-ORAGANIZE

Since all classes are completely online now, a lot of teachers have been forced to revise their syllabi. Whether it’s removing unnecessary assignments 🙂 , adjusting due dates, or recording lectures, there has been a lot of big changes in a short period of time. In order to stay on top of everything, its good to write down all of the dates in your agenda.

STUDY BUDDY

Say it with me, USE YOUR RESOURCES! haha. If you’re able to, find a study buddy. 🙂 You can motivate each other, remind each other of assignment deadlines, and study over FaceTime. A study buddy can keep you accountable, which will help if you’re a procrastinator, like me. 😉

SEPERATE YOUR SPACES

Don’t make the mistake of staying in bed all day. Designate different spaces for different things. If you don’t have a desk, you can set up your work at a kitchen or dining room table.

Change OF SCENARY

Although we are limited with the places we can go, staring at the same 4 walls all day long, can really put a damper on your mood. Try switching it up, a little bit. Just by switching from your bedroom to your backyard, can help increase productivity. 🙂

TAKE A BREAK!!

Don’t stress yourself out too much trying to finish all of your assignments at once. Find a good balance, but if it becomes too overwhelming, don’t be ashamed of taking a break. I was notorious for taking 13 minute naps, my freshman year. 😉
