There’s no way, I can make it without Him. So, it’s a natural habit for me to talk to God within the first hour of my day. I talk to him about various things, whether it’s concerning school, relationships, or my mental health. Girl, HE HEARS IT ALL! I use the Bible App daily to keep in touch and build my faith.
OMG! Self-care and making a to-do list are both things I need to pick up.
Great tips! I love your pink Jesus Calling too!
Love these ideas! This whole lockdown thing has been very trying mentally even though I already worked from home a d homeschooled my kids anyway. Definitely increasing my water intake tho!
Your whole list is what I try to live by daily! I’m still working on not picking up my phone immediately after waking up haha! But I usually catch myself and put it down. I love journaling in the mornings, it helps get all my thoughts out and a clear mind to start my day. This is my favorite blog post!

Loooved these tips!!!
This was so well put together (:
Omg I was just thinking about listening to bonnets and durags this must be a sign! I need to implement todo list in my routine too.
I love your cup!! Normally my son is my alarm clock, so I’ve been trying to wake up before him so I can get a little time in. The problem is the earlier I seem to wake up the earlier he does. Ha! But regardless, If not first thing in the morning, I want to incorporate this into my nighttime routine. Thanks!
Yes! To be honest, I’ve been slacking in the water drinking department. I get so busy that I neglect my basic necessities, which is simply not healthy! I’m also gonna try to take an hour of the day for myself. I’m sure it’ll be great for my mental health. Thank you!
This was so positive and I definitely needed to read this. Self care is so important and you definitely were spot on! I love the scripture Amos 9:13 -15 too
