24 Colorful Hours In Charleston, SC | Photo Diary

2 min read

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I just got back from a spontaneous vacation in Charleston, South Carolina. And yes, I do mean SPONTANEOUS! It was 3 P.M. on Wednesday {August 19th}, and my friend Danielle and I hopped off of my couch, packed a bag, and headed north! Now, how we got on the conversation of taking a trip Charleston is a story for another day… but I’m glad we did it!

THE AIRBNB

Because this trip was so spontaneous, we booked this beautiful Airbnb while on the road about an hour before we arrived.

We picked this room because of the historic charm, and exposed brick!

THE EVENING

After checking into our Airbnb, we quickly headed to King St, which is located in downtown Charleston. Charleston’s historic charm reminded me a lot of Savannah, Georgia.

DINNER

Best Barbecue in Charleston. Hands Down!

DESSERT

This was kinda an unplanned stop, but if you’re in Charleston… you don’t wanna miss it! I ordered a scoop of Honey Vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone! 🍯🍦😋

LADY'S NIGHT

word of advice: order the Dispensary Delight, but substitute the rum for vodka

We finished our night with 2 bottles of wine and the Notebook! haha. It was only right, since I found out a portion of the Notebook was filmed in Charleston.
